Valentine’s Day Love Bugs

This Valentine’s Day Love Bug craft is a fun and unique Valentine for your children to make or hand out at their Valentine’s Day party!

Materials Needed:

• 2″ Red pom poms
• 3″ or 4″ Foam Hearts
• Pipe cleaner of any colour
• Googly eyes of any size and colour
• Craft glue or a hot glue gun if this craft is being done by an adult

Steps 1 & 2

1) Wrap the pipe cleaner around a pencil so it’s coiled like little Love Bug antenna. Pull off the pencil and cut into 3 even sized pieces.

2) Turn the foam heart upside down so the curve of the heart becomes the feet of the Love Bug.

Steps 3 – 5

3) Glue on the Love Bug antenna & eyes

4) Write a Love Bug message on the “feet” of the Love Bug

5) Glue the Love Bug’s body onto the “feet”

This is a great craft to do at a Valentine’s Day party, the kids can make their Love Bug’s as creative and goofy as they like.
